Coming Soon - Son of Rambow

Written and directed by Garth Jennings (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy), Son of Rambow was a hit at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

The film occurs in 1980's England. Young Will Proudfoot views a pirate copy of Rambo: First Blood. He and school bully Lee Carter then set out to make their own epic action film. Hilarity ensues and everyone learns valuable lessons.

At least that's what I got from the trailer. I won't see the film until the special advance screening on May 14. Seems odd, since every site I have checked says it opened for limited American release on May 2.

The trailer looks very funny and the soundtrack is rumoured to contain such great 80's music as Depeche Mode and Gary Numan (Cars). I very much enjoyed Garth Jennings take on Hitchhiker's. This looks to be a really fun movie which will appeal to all ages.

We will be giving away 2 tickets to the May 14th special advance screening at the Regal Riviera Stadium 8 in beautiful downtown Knoxville, TN.

Stay tuned for contest details coming very soon.
