Experienced Avid (NO FCP!!!) Assistant Editor Needed

We are a TV production company in Knoxville looking to expand.
We are searching for an experienced, day-time Avid assistant editor. Typical duties include A-cutting, media management, digitization, batch capturing, etc.
There will be occasional opportunities to edit promos or parts of segments. This position could lead to either an offline or online editor track, depending on your skills and dedication to the job.
The position would begin as freelance, with possibilities for staff.
Please send resume, a cover letter, and references only, in the body of the email. No attachments. Replies with attachments will be deleted unread. NO REELS.
Again, only EXPERIENCED AVID ASSISTANTS apply. This is not a learn-on-the-job position. You must be ready to jump into a busy post environment. This is not for people with a primary knowledge of FCP. If Final Cut is your one and only post skill, try somewhere else. This is not an editing job. There will be more technical and administrative duties and less creative (although the creative could come into play; that depends on you).
Thank you.
