Note that this is the "Suite" set-up because it's definitely not a SWEET set-up! Although, I'm still amazed at how well my 4-year old G4 PowerBook does at tearing up complex timelines on FCP. Needless to say, this old road warrior has paid for itself enough times it may be time to retire it to pasture. Or maybe I should let it die like a true warrior in the heat of battle. Time will tell.

There's no emergency here at the Mall at Millenia. Just a really cool reenactment for the event.
Funny, I think I saw some familiar footage in the video presentation.
Looks great... very effective.
Cudo's to the guy who put it together.

Knoxville, TN March 21, 2008: After much collaboration with Randy Travis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Debbie Lee Carrington, DASH Networks Inc. is set to premiere their Damon & Stella Foundation For Mental Health public service announcements.
The Knoxville based boutique production company is responsible for the production of the PSAs from conception down to the final editing and every step in between. It was such a labor of love for all of us at DASH, since we are at the root of conception for the foundation and believe heavily for what it stands for, conceptualizing and producing the PSAs came naturally to us, said Josh Gildrie, spokesperson for DASH Networks Inc.
The Damon & Stella Foundation, founded in 2006 by family survivors of suicide, is an alliance of artists and health care professionals dedicated to expanding our cultural awareness of mental health disease. With over 30,000 completed suicides in the United States each year, and with 250,000 to 790,000 estimated attempts, our aim is to draw attention to this crisis through aggressive communication, compassion, and community campaigns.

Make-up artist Stephanie Barnes sits in while Knoxville Films dials in the lighting for a new show for the Metro Pulse/Knoxville Films collaboration. This show was produced in collaboration with FMB Advertising and features an interview with Knoxville artist, Albert Baah.
Mr. Baah is an incredibly gifted artist originally from Ghana who has chosen Knoxville as his home. His story and his art will be featured in a mini-documentary on the new gallery page curated by the humble crew at KnoxvilleFilms.com.
What other shows are we working on? You name it. We'll be covering the best of Knoxville. From food to music to independent film--we've got it covered. The new media revolution is at hand--and you've got a front row seat.
Stay tuned...

I can't express the feelings that overcame me as I looked at the progress of the construction at the site. After all these years, seeing pilings and concrete fill the place where so many needlessly lost their lives brought back the emotions of that terrible day. It also filled me with hope that, as the World Trade Center rebuilds, so our nation can also overcome the loss of liberties its citizens endure in the name of security.
Never forget those innocent souls and the valiant men and women who sacrificed themselves in the attempt to save them.
